Outlining the first steps for optimal emergency responses

Why choose this course

The course is designed for staff in all areas of the workplace and aims to give the participants an understanding of fire prevention in the workplace including initial response to an incident using Standard Fire Orders. In this course, participants will have hands-on training with fire fighting equipment under the supervision of experienced firefighters.

Can this course be performed on-site?

On-site training can be an incredibly advantageous choice to maximise your training experience. It is a lot easier to absorb information about emergency procedures when the training is directly connected to the area that will be affected in the event of an emergency. However, in order to properly deliver the requirements of the training, there are some prerequisites that need to be met in order to allow for on-site delivery of these courses. For this course, the site where the training will be conducted will need to be appropriate for the lighting of a fire pit that will allow for live extinguishing training.

In the event that on-site training is required but this prerequisite is not met then our trainers can provide a 1-hour classroom training session but the course will not include the correct use of extinguishers.
